Ttimage

Since the original mkttimage and ttimgextract work only on little endian machines, but my preferred machine happens to be a PPC Mac, I rewrote the original tools. These new versions are little bit more portable and more generic, but not that different from the original tools.

There are three tools in the set:

  • extract extracts root.cpio.gz and zImage from a ttsystem image
  • verify verifies the MD5/Blowfish signatures in a ttsystem image
  • construct constructs a new ttsystem image from the component files
